Kuala Lumpur - any suggestions for where to watch the final
Hello all

My son is in KL. Has been in his house due to picking something up for a couple of weeks (hopefully his knob won't fall off)... so hasn't had the chance to try to find out where might be showing the match.

Anyone have any knowledge of places likely to be open at 3am local time for kick off that might be showing the match?

I used to go to Reggae Bar near china town when passing through KL. I think it closes at 3, but I reckon they'd probably stay open if need be, especially as I think it's a backpackers these days but midweek and 3am is def going to be tricky.

I'd probably pop out Reggae Bar have a word, and head back to home/hotel to watch it if they can't. Bukit Bintang will prob be closed by that time due to license laws, but backpacker places might not be quite so strict.

You’re going to struggle unfortunately , 9pm Prague is gonna be 3am KL

But as everyone says Changkat Bukit Bintang is your best bet . Gravy Baby May stay open late .

Unfortunately won’t be there currently in Istanbul waiting flight to Prague .

Cheers

There's a street lined with expat bars - a couple being sports bars opposite or roughly opposite "Gypsy's" one is/was the Irish bar which had several screens. Try Jalan Bukit Bintang / Jalan Sultan Ismael and the adjoining streets.

Used to be a popular "doris bar" at the junction of Jalan SI and Jalam P Ramjee that was often open way past 3am, so that may be a start - had sharks in a glass tank above the bar...

Not sure about the time though, been 20 years since I worked there and was never out that late/early.

Kuala Lumpar is my favourite Burp word.

I know that doesn't help but wanted you to know anyway.

Just go to the expat area Changkat Bukit Bintang, will be plenty of bars there showing the game, and they stay open very late.
